Wordless Wednesday - The Windy City

Hey all!

Just linking up with Sugar and Spice for Wordless Wednesday. If you haven't do it, you should check it out. It is fun and QUICK way to interact with other teachers by asking one simple question from a picture.
This is me 104 stories up at the Willis tower. As a kid, I laid down. No fear. I was ready for a change of clothes after this!!

This was the girl in front of me.

So my question:
What makes you nervous now that you did carefree as a child???

  1. Fear defying picture, right there! Be proud! :) Great question: When I was younger, I would run ahead of my parents or leave the house to visit friends without much thought. Now, that I'm older, I am making sure my parents have what they need before I run out (They usually do.) I just make sure they are okay more now then I used to. Funny how roles switch.

  2. Wow! As a young girl I loved roller coasters, but as an adult would not ride on them at all ---until the day my 4 year old daughter rode the Georgia Cyclone and I watched from the ground. Now, I will ride most any roller coaster. The thing I don't like is water slides. I am afraid of sloshing over the side!

  3. Like Carol, I used to love roller coasters. Now I'm petrified of them because I get vertigo. I'm so scared I will be stuck in a park somewhere and not be able to function. :(

  4. Diving! I used to jump/dive into anything with water from anywhere. Now I am more of a walk in from the steps on slide in off the side. I'm not sure why this has changed!
