Made it Monday Linky -

I am super excited to share my Made it Monday!

I made this SEVERAL Mondays ago - say about 150 Mondays ago, but I am so proud of them that I had to share them! My room is red, black, and white polka dots and I wanted my classroom library to have a few familiar characters hanging on the walls. Like all of us, I hate spending money on things that I can make on my own! It took me about 2 hours to do each one of the pictures, but I think they turned out pretty great! I think that I may add a character or two more. Who do you suggest? I just used poster board and acrylic paints with pencil. I of course traced in my sharpie marker all around to have everything pop.

Here is the Dr. Seuss, which is an entire poster board, while my Olivia and Lily are half a sheet each.

Here are all three together so you can see them for size.
Once I get them up on the wall and start in my classroom, I will show you how they look up and functioning. I hope you enjoyed my homemade murals! I can't wait to set foot into my classroom today! :)

I am also looking for a guest blogger so if you are interested, please let me know!!! It is a great way to get more traffic to your blog, and mine of course!  :)

Enjoy your day!

Alyssa
