Saturday snapshots

I'm linking up with Michele for Saturday Snapshots.

I've been pretty lazy this summer. However my trip to Chicago was amazing!!!
I'm always amazed by the view from a plane bits just so peaceful.

Although our weather was in the 60's, there was something about this gloomy photo I love.

Our Segway tour was probably the best part of our trip. What an awesome way to see the city!  Did you know this is computer operated but ONE guy - the same guy checks it everyday?

This was the first building in Chicago made by a female Architect. I think that is so cool. Also, the hotel is on top while condos are on the bottom. So a renter had a better view than the 7 million dollar condo!!!
Honestly, I can't remember the history of this one but it's beautiful

Look at this man. I just love him. We had such a great time! It's so nice to do something that required nothing but our opinions on our time table.
Can't wait to go back.

So I'm in the living room and hear "uh oh- need new batteries". Then, I see Reid grab a chair, pull it to the counter. He hops up, finds the screwdriver in the bin and goes back to the table. This is what he was doing. Bless his heart- he was trying to fix his train. His batteries HAD died. He has learned so much. God love him.

So I've had Reid tracing letters, and I thought what better than to trace on iFontmaker. He made a font!!

He did so good!!!
This is his name with his traced letters Val cool. What a keepsake.

Go link up with Miss Nelson!

Happy Saturday!!!
